This is a wonderful place and the food is amazing and the waiter totally knew it! When he came to our table and we though he was about to say "how was everything" or the standared question but no he was like: "I assume everything tasted great". A little oddness for othervise great eating experience.

The Prix-fixe is a great deal (25 bucks for app,main and dessert) and includes everything on the menu. The endive salad with pomegranite is great, although it could use more of the cheese, and my pork wrapped in bacon (haram, I know) was perfectly moist and delicious.
The cheese plate was also surprisingly wonderful. By far the best one I have ever had at a New York restaurant. No crazy sides, just really fabulous complex cheeses (that are selected by Stinky, the new cheese shup next door.
Having said that, I wasn't really blown away by anything but the cheese plate.
