I'm not much of a coffee drinker because I'm really sensitive to caffeine but once in awhile my Seattle roots kick in and I just need to have a cup. In those rare moments, I venture over to Gorilla where they brew a damn fine cup of coffee. Damn strong too, one cup and I'm up until two or three in the morning...

If you buy beans, you get a free cup of coffee, which is truly delicious. I also liked the lighting. And the dudes who work there were pretty cute.

Definitely too school for school. I blush when the people there are nice to me and not "what the f... do you want". Laptops with stickers like if they were skateboards or something. The coffee there is a hit or miss I have had some of the best coffee I've ever had there but also sometimes I couldn't consume the bitter, burnt coffee. I tend to go there every time I walk by it's like torture not unlike the longing to hangout with the cool kids even though they aren't always nice to you. One day maybe one day I too will be among those with laptops hanging out ... but my laptop only has one sticker on it.

I LOVE THIS PLACE

but its gotten pretty popular, such that on a weekend there is a line out the door, and also i rarely sit down for too long because mostly they play loud metal or punk, which is great music, but not so easy to have a conversation over/under

The espresso is good, as is the beans, but the brewed coffee is undrinkable. I like strong ass coffee, but this is just bitter.

I really appreciate the free wifi. Maybe I'm getting old, but I prefer the cozier Blue Sky Bakery down the Ave.

Only had a pastry here once-- I don't remember what it was called, but it was some sort of seven-layer bar with marshmallow, chocolate, coconut (they were giving them away for free at closing time)--and it was extremely sweet, almost too sweet for me and I have a notorious sweet tooth. The coffee is good, and this is a very fun and hip coffee shop. It's usually crowded on the weekends, which is a good sign for the coffee and pastries, although maybe not so great for those of you who want to chill out.

They have great coffee. i used to walk blocks evey week to buy it by the pound, but they jacked their prices a few weeks ago and I can get equally good coffee elsewhere, cheaper, without the walk and without the ridiculous wait in line.
